Opening an account
Email [email protected]. A team member will reach out and handle the rest.
There is no application portal to work through and no form that has to be right the first time. Onboarding is a conversation, because what a practice needs depends on what it orders.
What setup covers
Ordering and results. Clinicore accepts paper requisitions, and LabNexus can be set up — a physician portal where the practice both orders and receives results electronically, directly from the laboratory’s LIMS. Both are available, and a practice can use either or both.
Supplies. Once the account exists, request collection supplies and they ship by FedEx. Kits are assembled around the testing the practice actually orders rather than shipped as a standard box — see supplies.
Results. Delivered to the practice’s preference.
Requisition setup. For blood and clinical chemistry, the requisition can be customised to the practice’s profile so the tests that practice orders frequently are laid out on the form. This is worth doing at setup rather than later — see ordering.

Before the first collection
Two things are worth reading before a specimen goes out, because both prevent a rejected sample or a rejected claim:
- Specimen collection — device, volume, stability and transport for each specimen type. Note particularly the 72-hour pregnenolone window on a red-top tube, which a late-week collection with weekend transit can exceed.
- How testing bills — which panels bill as a single unit and which bill by component. A lab profile is not a billable panel, and that catches practices out.
Clinicore accepts specimens from all U.S. states except New York and California. Both require an out-of-state laboratory permit Clinicore does not hold.
