How to order
Clinicore accepts paper requisitions, and offers LabNexus, a physician portal where a practice orders and receives results electronically, directly from the laboratory’s LIMS. Both are available; a practice can use either, or both.
A requisition built around what you order
A standard requisition lists everything the laboratory offers, which means most of it is irrelevant to any given practice and the tests that practice actually orders are scattered across it.
Clinicore can customise the blood and clinical chemistry requisition to a practice’s profile, so the tests ordered frequently sit where they are easy to find and tick. The result is a shorter form, fewer mis-ticks, and less time spent hunting for a test that is ordered every week.
This is set up during onboarding. If an account already exists and the requisition no longer reflects what the practice orders, ask — it can be revised.

Before ordering
Specimen collection carries the device, volume, stability and transport for each specimen type, including the constraints that cause a specimen to be rejected — the pregnenolone window in particular.

The ordering provider selects the diagnosis. Clinicore does not select diagnosis codes on a practice’s behalf, and the codes listed on panel pages are those commonly applicable — not a recommendation to report any of them.
